Advanced Computer-Aided Drafting (Animation)
(Grades 11 - 12 ; 2 Periods a week for one full school year;Prerequisite: Computer-Aided Drafting )
This course explores advanced computer-aided drawing techniques. Projects are selected by the student and are guided by the Instructor. This course covers Computer-Aided Animation . Each student will produce original animations using a variety of modeling techniques. The drawing will then be shaded and rendered. The animation usually runs between two to fifteen minutes. Many hours outside of the scheduled two periods a week are required for rendering and generating the animations. The student's work will be displayed at the annual Video and Technology Showcase on campus. Students are encouraged to enter their designs in competition at the state level.
